Eni’s 21.5tcf Zohr gas field is on course to hit 2.25bn cfd output by the year, up from the current 2bn cfd as a sixth 400mn cfd processing facility comes online. The Italian firm recently completed its ninth Zohr production well with output shut in pending the start-up of the processing facility. The well, drilled by the Saipem 10000, has come at a cost of $300mn, and tested at 150mn cfd, though Eni envisages output of 250mn cfd in line with the first eight wells.
