The Petro Rabigh refining and petrochemicals JV of Saudi Aramco and Japan’s Sumitomo has started up the first final products unit at the Rabigh-2 expansion complex alongside the existing refinery and petchems plant at Rabigh on the Saudi Red Sea coast.
The 15,000 tons/year thermoplastic olefins (TPO) plant is delivering the first Saudi-produced TPO, which is used extensively for manufacturing auto parts and for roofing. (CONTINUED - 525 WORDS)
