Five international contractors have prequalified for the main construction contract on the delayed Ain Tsila gas and condensate field development in Algeria’s southeast. Award is expected in September, an industry source tells MEES.

The development plan envisages total production of 2.2 tcf gas, 113mn barrels of LPG and 70mn barrels of condensate. Planned 14-year plateau output is 355mn cfd (3.6 bcm/year) and 20,000 b/d liquids. (CONTINUED - 1021 WORDS)
