Algeria saw a substantial rise in its gas export volumes last year, with a sharp jump in Italian pipeline volumes more than offsetting a fall in LNG and Spanish piped volumes. But, with key contracts set to expire, whether this can be sustained remains to be seen. One thing is for sure – prices and revenue will remain under pressure.
