Abu Dhabi Shakes Up Adnoc Management

Adnoc’s new DG is making his mark through wide-ranging management changes. New appointees have their work cut out for Abu Dhabi to hit its output targets.

The restructuring of Abu Dhabi’s oil and gas sector continues apace with a reshuffling of senior personnel. Key subsidiaries of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) have had new heads appointed as the emirate looks to add impetus to its oil and gas development plans. Further organizational changes in the coming months are likely as new Adnoc chief Sultan al-Jabir focuses on improving efficiencies.

The latest shakeup sees new CEOs at key Adnoc divisions including the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations (Adco), the Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (Adma-Opco) and Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Limited (Gasco).
