Construction of the giant Sadara petchems complex is 85% complete and on schedule for 2015 start-up, as processors sign up to build plants in the adjacent PlasChem industrial park to utilize Sadara’s specialty products.

The Sadara joint venture of Saudi Aramco and US firm Dow Chemical is lining up processors to build plants in the PlasChem Park that is taking shape alongside their giant – 3.22mn tons/year of final products – petrochemicals complex at Jubail.
