The Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO) consortium, operator of the emirate’s biggest onshore oil fields, has awarded UK services firm Petrofac a $500mn engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to expand compression facilities at the 420,000 b/d onshore Bab oil field.
Petrofac is set to modify three of the existing compressors and install a new one. The contract also stipulates that Petrofac build surface facilities for 27 wells and associated gas pipelines. (CONTINUED - 363 WORDS)
