Iraq’s planned multi-billion dollar project to transport 1mn b/d of crude from Basra to the Jordanian port of ‘Aqaba is advancing. Iraq and Jordan signed an agreement on 7 April to build the pipeline, essentially ratifying a framework agreement and memorandum of understanding that were already in place.
