Iran’s crude oil exports in March fell to the lowest levels seen this year, latest International Energy Agency (IEA) figures show, and with US and EU pressure mounting on existing importers, this trend is likely to continue.

Exports of Iranian crude oil were down close to 13% in March relative to the previous month’s figures, as Western sanctions imposed over the Islamic Republic’s disputed nuclear program took their toll.
