Italy’s Edison Secures Cheaper Libyan Gas

Italian utility Edison on 1 October secured a discount on its purchases Libyan gas through the 9 bcm/year Greenstream pipeline. This comes on top of similar victories against Qatar’s RasGas and Russia’s Gazprom. A case against Algeria is pending.
