Kashagan Consortium May Request New Deadline for Early Oil
Less than two weeks after Kazakhstan’s General Prosecutor’s Office fined the North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) $4.7mn for alleged environmental violations (MEES, 4 July), the UK’s Daily Telegraph newspaper reported on 1 July that NCOC may request yet another extension on its deadline for early oil production from the Kashagan oil field development. read more
