Kazakhstan May Delay Kashagan Phase 2 By Three Years

The Kazakh authorities are considering freezing Kashagan oil production at the Phase 1 level for a period of up to three years before deciding on the details of Phase 2 and Phase 3, which are intended to raise output to a plateau level of 1.5mn b/d, the UK’s Daily Telegraph reported on 5 April.
