Iraq Cabinet Approves 2013 Budget Of 2.9mn B/D Exports At $90/B Oil Price

The Iraqi cabinet on Tuesday approved a $115bn budget for next year, with increased oil exports of 2.9mn b/d and a budget oil price of $90/B. The budget must still be approved by parliament. By comparison, Iraq’s 2012 budget was $100bn. Iraq’s oil revenue accounts for nearly all state income and thus the country is solely dependent on exports.
