US Firm Awarded $3.3bn Dubai Solar Park

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has awarded a contract to the US-based First Solar to build the 1st phase of the $3.3bn Muhammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum Solar Park in the city. First Solar will provide EPC services for the 13mw solar plan. Solar power is to diversify Dubai’s energy resources.
