IEA: Iraq’s Oil Exports May Double By 2020

Iraq’s oil exports are expected to rise to their highest in decades this month and production is on course to more than double by 2020. The IEA said Iraq’s production would reach 6.1mn b/d from around 3mn b/d now, under what it called it “central scenario.” That prediction would be half of what was originally implied by Iraq’s targets of agreements signed with IOCs.
