Libyan oil production continues to fall as fighting raging throughout much of the country takes a toll on operations. As MEES went to press, the state of the oil industry was very much in flux, but it is increasingly becoming clear that international and especially US pressure on the Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi regime is beginning to deter potential buyers of Libyan crude. And as one trader notes: “If there are no exports, then eventually almost all production has to stop.”
