US Ex-Im Bank To Lend UAE $2Bn For Nuclear Plants

The US Export-Import Bank said on 7 September that it will lend $2bn to UAE firm Barakah One Company for the purchase of US equipment and construction services for the first of four planned nuclear power plants. UAE plans to build four 1.4gw nuclear power plants, which are scheduled to come on-line in 2017-20.
