Oil Prices Eases As Traders Track Financial Data

Oil prices eased overall last week in volatile trading, as investors tracked economic data and plans for monetary easing in the US and Europe. While Chinese and US data indicated a continuing economic slowdown, US Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke hinted on 31 August that additional monetary easing was a possibility.
