Qatar, ExxonMobil JV Preparing LNG Exports

A joint venture between ExxonMobil and Qatar Petroleum aims to export LNG from a gas terminal near the Texas-Louisiana border. The firm has applied for regulatory approval for a $10bn project that would export up to 15.6mn tons/year of LNG by expanding existing facilities at Port Arthur.
