Italian Court Unfreezes Libyan Stake In ENI

The Rome Appeals Court decided on 23 July to unfreeze the 0.58% stake in ENI owned by the Libyan Investment Authority Fund (LIA). This stake had been frozen in March, along with other shareholdings by Tripoli in Italy among which were the stakes in the Italian bank UniCredit (1.265%) and Finmeccanica (Italian Defense –Aerospace Company 2%).
