EU Tightens Sanctions On Syria

As the conflict in Syria escalated into more violence last week, the EU governments on 23 July decided to freeze the assets and block the visas of 26 new individuals and prevent European companies engaging in business with three Syrian entities (including Syrian Arab Airlines).
