Total output from shale formation in the US averaged 25.58 mn cfd in May, 24% higher than April. Shale production has gained 5.7% this year (Bloomberg).Production from shale deposits with oil and other liquids has gained as dry-gas output has declined in response to decade-low prices, the EIA said in its Short-Term Energy Outlook.
