Suicide Attack Kills Top Syrian Defense Officials

A suicide bomber attacked a meeting of senior Syrian ministers and security officials in Damascus, killing both Defense Minister Daoud Rajha and 'Asif Shawkat, a senior military aide and brother-in-law of President Bashar al-Asad, Syrian state TV reported. The attack followed three days of violent clashes in the capital.
