KRG To Sell Gas Directly To Turkey

The Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG’s) Minister of Natural Resources, Ashti Hawrami, has said the Region is planning to sell natural gas directly to Turkey in the next two years (Iraq-Business News). The plan is to sell 10bn cu ms of gas to Turkey, and later to Europe in the long term, even if there is no approval from Baghdad.
