Not only have recent protests not disrupted oil operations, but production at Bahrain’s Awali field is actually on the rise, Bahraini Minister of Oil and Gas Affairs and Chairman of the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) 'Abd al-Husain 'Ali Mirza tells MEES. Output that at one point dropped as low as 29,000 b/d is now running at around 40,000 b/d, he says.
