Iraq Targets 2.6mn B/D Exports In 2012

Iraqi Oil Minister ‘Abd al-Karim al-Luaibi said 11 June that his country is exporting just over 2.4mn b/d of crude oil as it ramps up exports towards a 2012 target of 2.6mn b/d, but it is not directly compensating for lower Iranian crude oil supplies ahead of western sanctions on Iran, he added.
