Shell: Talks With Iraq Over Majnoon Targets
Published on Tuesday, 12 Jun 09:12 am
Shell is in talks with the Iraqi government over the pace of development and production targets at the giant Majnoon oil field , Shell’s CEO Voser told reporters on the sidelines of the World Gas Conference in Kuala Lumpur. “The progress is good and satisfactory; our developments will depend on some infrastructure investments which need to be invested by the Iraqi government and their companies,…I think that’s where the discussion is taking place at the moment on how fast production ramp-up can be done and what plateau you should achieve in order to have an optimized production mix,” he said, according to Platts.
