Saudi Aramco and Shell unveiled the $10bn expansion of their JV Motiva Enterprises Texas Gulf Coast refinery Thursday as it neared its maximum capacity of 600,000 b/d, the largest in the US. Speaking of the unveiling, Shell CEO Peter Voser said: "This ambitious expansion creates this country's larget refinery and one of the most advanced anywhere." President and CEO of Motiva Bob Peace later added that Motiva was looking to increase fuel exports to up ti 100,000 b/d once work on the pipeline leading from the plant to the docks is completed.
