International interest in Cyprus’ second licensing round has exceeded Nicosia’s expectations, Neoclis Sylikiotis, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, said on 11 May during a press conference to announce the bidders for 12 offshore blocks in the island’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
