Kuwait’s Gulf Oil Targets 350,00 B/D By 2014

The Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KOGC) is aiming to increase its crude oil output to 350,000 b/d by 2014-15 from 250,000 b/d now, the company’s Chairman told KUNA. A unit of KPC is also aiming to boost the gas it extracts from oil fields to 500mn cu ft by the same date, Hashim al-Rifai said. The target fits in with KPC’s long-term goal to produce 4mn b/d by 2020, reports Reuters.
