Total says it will work with the Yemeni government to find a way to make it safe for its personnel to operate in the country, following a 1 May attack on a car carrying Total employees in which two people were shot dead. Suhail al-Jawfi, the company’s deputy security officer in the country, was killed alongside a Yemeni soldier traveling with Total.
