Engineer Khalid 'Abd al-Baqi, head of Gasco, the company responsible for transporting Egyptian gas to Jordan, confirmed that the company will pump 50mn cu ft/d to Jordan by the end of this week, adding that these limited volumes are on a trial basis in an effort to guarantee the safety of the pipeline after maintenance work following an explosion a few days ago.
