Indian Tanker Operator Requests State Guarantees To Cover Iran Crude Imports

The Chairman of the Shipping Corporation of India, S Hajara, told Reuters on 24 April that the corporation had asked the Indian government to offer state guarantees in the form of reinsurance coverage up to a level of $50mn so as to guarantee the continuation of crude oil imports from Iran.
