EGPC Needs $1.1Bn Per Month For Import Of Petroleum Products

The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) has asked the Ministry of Finance for a monthly credit facility of $1.1bn in May and June to import petroleum products, and warned of the ongoing fuel crisis in the country as a result of shortage of the necessary funds to finance these imports.
