Syria Reports Fresh Attacks On Pipelines

Last week saw more bombing of pipelines in Syria as the ongoing violence in the country between security forces and the opposition intensified. On 5 February an 18-inch pipeline carrying gas from the 'Umar field to the Muhrada electricity generation station was blown up near the town of Talbisa, 15km north of Homs.
