Israel Changes Track On Future Gas Export Policy

Israeli Energy Minister Uzi Landau has changed his mind about how much gas the country will need to meet its own future demand, which would free up considerably more volumes for the export market. Landau said on 2 February that he now believes 25 years of reserves is sufficient for the remainder to be earmarked for exports. Previously. Landau suggested retaining at least around 50 years for this purpose.
