Syria’s Power Capacity Outages Put At 2.0GW

The Syrian Minister of Electricity 'Imad Khamis announced last week that some 2.0gw of power generating capacity has been taken out of service from total electricity supply in the country, mainly because of attacks on pipelines supplying feedstock to power stations in “the difficult days that the country is going through.”
