Kuwait Names New Government, Retains Oil Minister

Kuwait named a new government on 13 December, keeping Muhammad al-Busairi as Minister of Oil, Kuwaiti state television reported. The Amir last month named a new prime minister, Shaikh Jabir al-Mubarak al-Sabah, after the government’s resignation, and announced that parliamentary elections will be held (MEES, 5 December).
