South Stream Partners Reportedly Preparing To Exclude Austria And Greece

South Stream pipeline partners have decided to exclude Austria from the 63 bcm/year capacity project, because Gazprom had faced firm opposition from the European Commission in its attempt to buy a controlling share of the Central European Gas Hub in Baumgarten, which is 80% owned by Austria’s OMV.
