NEPCO And Chinese Company Sign MOU For Shale Oil Power Plant In Jordan

Jordan’s National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) and the Chinese-owned Lejjun (or Lajjun) Oil Shale Investments on 21 November signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to construct a 900mw oil shale thermal-fired power plant in Lajjun, some 100kms south of 'Amman, according to the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
