UK-based Max Petroleum announced on 21 November that the KZIE-1 discovery well in the East Kyzylzhar Field flowed 1,484 b/d of 42° API oil on test from 6ms of perforations in a Jurassic reservoir at a depth of 1,110-1,118ms.
