Sohar Aluminium To Assist OPWP To Meet Peak Power Demand

Sohar Aluminium has entered into a two-year agreement with the Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWP) to use its power plant to help meet increased public demand during peak summer months, Oman’s Daily Observer reported on 13 September. Sohar Aluminium will export power to the Oman National Power Grid during the high demand summer months and import power during the low demand winter month
