The Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah has warned that the misuse of his country’s financial surplus and the lack of investment in “the right direction” have led to a series of structural imbalances in the national economy, which have become “a burden and a real obstacle threatening the future of the country and its ability to implement programs and meet its various financial obligations.
