Iran Awards Contract For Darkhovin Field

The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) awarded a $1.6bn contract for further development of the Darkhovin offshore oil field to a domestic consortium, excluding PetroVietnam from the project. The contract involves the 3rd phase development of the field to produce 71,000 b/d of crude oil production on completion of the project in 66 months.
