Lebanon Approves Energy Cooperation MOU With Iran

The Lebanese cabinet on 20 July approved a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water and the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum for cooperation in various aspects of the energy sector, initialed in October during the visit of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Lebanon (MEES, 18 October 2010).
