S&P Upgrades Kuwait’s Ratings To AA With Stable Outlook

Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services raised Kuwait’s local and foreign currency sovereign credit ratings on 20 July to AA from AA-. The short term ratings were affirmed at A-1+, with a stable outlook. The transfer and convertibility assessment is affirmed at AA+.
