Libya’s Benghazi-based Transitional National Council (TNC) is working hard to restart oil production from damaged facilities at the Sarir and Mesla fields, but a return of significant volumes of Libyan crude to world oil markets is perhaps not as imminent as suggested by some reports, a senior TNC official tells MEES.
