Repsol Wins First Post-Revolution Upstream Deals

Tunisia’s state-owned ETAP has awarded three seismic survey licenses to Spain’s Repsol in what is the first such award since the overthrow of the dictatorship of former president Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali in January. The two-year deals cover the 6,500 sq km Ras Korane, the 4,000 sq km Ras Rihane and the 4,600 sq km Nadhour blocks offshore northern Tunisia.
