Yemen Has Lost $1bn In Revenues Since Mid-March

Yemen has lost nearly $1bn in revenues since an explosion shut down the country’s main oil pipeline. “Yemen loses around $10mn a day due to the production and export stoppage since mid-March,” a Yemeni official told Reuters on 21 June. No date has been set to repair the pipeline. “It depends on reaching an agreement between the government and the opposition,” the official was quoted as saying.
