Jordan Raises Imports Of Iraqi Crude To 15,000 B/D

Jordan has started receiving 15,000 b/d of Iraqi crude, instead of the previous 10,000 b/d, under a new deal reached earlier this month with Baghdad, Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Khalid Tuqan announced last week. Jordan decided to raise its imports of Iraqi crude by 50%, following the disruption and drop in the supply of Egyptian gas to the kingdom since February, following the downfall of the regime of former president Husni Mubarak.
